So beautiful but her life will be in danger this fall. Wyoming has reversed their ban of trophy hunting of grizzly bears outside of the park, stating that the bears are no longer endangered. This places #399 at high risk as her territory often extends near the park boundary and sometimes outside the border. Wildlife has no idea where the boundaries are, and many hunters want to be the one to claim her as their prize.

We took a side trip to Yellowstone. This is the Snake River as it meanders into Teton National Park. The scene captured my eye as this area of the park is not open in winter, even to snow coaches, so to see this amount of snow on the banks of the river on a beautiful, clear, spring day was an amazing sight.

The church was built in 1934 near the Oregon Trail to commemorate those pioneers who traveled through the area. Our names are now in the Visitor's Book.

A passing car stopped to inquire if we had car trouble on this desolate road. Living in the area, the kind gentleman told us the name of this rock formation is the Kissing Camels.

The still wild west. Not much of it left - I'm glad we got to see it.
