Digging Away
Yellowstone National Park, WY - February 14, 2023: Tripod the coyote is digging deep into the snow. For what reason?? Has he cached a carcass from a previous kill he made and now wants to have a snack? Maybe he is digging his own hole to stash his kill? Or has he found a cache left by another animal - maybe another coyote, wolf or mountain lion? Who knows...but he is definately busy.
